 Audio – this ministry is responsible for the operations, maintenance and preparation of all sound devices. You will be responsible for producing a sound of excellence for every area of the ministry. The gospel must be clearly heard as it is preached in the live service and in a recorded format, in excellence. You will also be responsible for high quality editing and duplication of all recorded messages. |
 Graphic Design – The quality of printed or electronic marketing materials often serves as the first experience someone will have with our ministry. A skillful graphic artist can illustrate the excellence and creativity that Word of Life stands for. Your gift will help draw many to the ministry to hear the changing Word of Christ. This ministry is responsible for creating the imaging for and designing all ministry collateral. |
Greeters – The greeter is a vital part in welcoming and ushering in our first-time visitors and regular attendees. It has been said, “you never get a second chance to make a first impression.” Therefore, in this position, it is of the utmost importance that anyone arriving can perceive the level of excellence and professionalism we seek to attain within this ministry. People will be drawn to Word of Life church as you display warmth, concern for their needs, and the love of God. |
Praise and Worship Singers – the role of the praise and worship singers is to lead the congregation in ministering to the Lord in song, praise and worship. You are instrumental in preparing the hearts of the congregation to receive from the Lord. You help to prepare an atmosphere for the Holy Spirit to inhabit the praises of his people. Praise and worship is not a singing group that entertains the congregation. |
Praise and Worship Musicians – the role of the praise and worship musician is to set the musical atmosphere that will usher in the presence of God. You should demonstrate proficiency in the area of music and understand the biblical standards of the worship ministry. You must have a high degree of spiritual sensitivity with the ability to hear and musically follow the Holy Spirit. |
Prayer Ministry – the prayer ministry consists of three major categories: altar prayer, corporate prayer, and intercessory prayer. Prayer is the vehicle through which we communicate with God and he communicates back to us. Prayer is vital to accomplish anything in the Kingdom of God. You must maintain your own personal prayer life in order to pray effectively for others. You must be born again and filled with the Holy Spirit. |
Product Sales – this ministry is responsible for product sales of ministry media, whether it is a book, audio or video product. They will work in close coordination with the audio and video ministries. This ministry is critical for distributing the Word of God which is able to save the loss, destroy the works of the devil, and help Believers grow their faith, so that God may be glorified. Effective customer service, selling and merchandising skills will be important attributes. |
Video – this ministry is responsible for the operations, maintenance and preparations of all video devices. You will be responsible for capturing and producing high-quality video for each area of the ministry. This ministry is also responsible for the post-production editing and production, duplication, or distribution of all video products. |

Ushers – the role of the Usher is to establish and maintain an atmosphere in the sanctuary where the Word of God can be received with gladness, allowing the people to have a warm and enjoyable worship experience. As an usher, you will be responsible for maintaining order before, during, and after every service by creating and maintaining an environment that welcomes the presence of God. |
